Quarterly meetings
OSMA’s quarterly meetings bring together leading professionals from across the orthopaedic sector, creating a space for robust discussion and knowledge exchange.
We invite Strategic Partners to actively participate by attending and presenting on relevant topics selected by OSMA. Presenting at a quarterly meeting provides a valuable opportunity to:
- Share expertise – Offer your unique insights on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
- Network with peers – Engage with key stakeholders, including orthopaedic manufacturers, regulators, and other Strategic Partners. These interactions are invaluable for building relationships and fostering collaborations that can lead to innovative solutions.
- Influence industry direction – Through your participation, you can directly influence the discussions and outcomes of these meetings, helping to guide the future direction of the orthopaedic surgical industry.
Working groups
Working groups are a vital aspect of OSMA’s mission to advance the orthopaedic industry. As a Strategic Partner, your involvement with these groups allows you to collaborate closely with other industry professionals to address specific challenges and opportunities within the field. Here’s how your participation makes an impact:
- Collaborative problem-solving – Each working group focuses on a particular area of concern, such as regulatory compliance, biocompatibility, or new technology integration. By contributing your knowledge and experience, you help develop practical solutions that benefit the entire industry.
- Development of industry guidelines – Working groups are instrumental in drafting and refining guidelines that set the standard for the industry. Your input ensures that these guidelines are not only relevant but also reflective of current practices and future needs.
- Publication contributions – The work produced by these groups often culminates in publications that are disseminated throughout the industry. These documents serve as essential references for best practices, compliance, and innovation, and your contributions will be recognized within them.

OSMA is committed to providing members with the latest knowledge and regulatory insights. As a Strategic Partner, you can actively participate in and benefit from our educational programs by:
- Engaging with regulatory experts – Gain valuable insights on enhancing your business practices from industry experts and regulatory authorities at OSMA’s feature presentations and discussions.
- Contributing to educational content – Share your expertise by collaborating on educational materials and presentations. Whether through webinars, workshops, or written resources, your knowledge will enrich the entire OSMA community.
- Fostering continuous professional development – Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes, and become empowered to make significant contributions to the orthopaedic surgical field.
Strategic Partner Qualifications
To qualify as an OSMA Strategic Partner, your organization must meet the following requirements:
- Industry involvement – Your business provides essential support to orthopaedic manufacturers, including, but not limited to, regulatory support, contract manufacturing, quality control, supply chain management, design and development, reimbursement, clinical trial design/management, and education/communication.
- Relevant expertise – Individuals or consulting companies, contract manufacturers, testing labs, suppliers, or associations that work within the orthopaedic space are eligible.
- No solicitation – Your organization must respect the no solicitation policy, ensuring that all interactions are professional and aligned with OSMA’s standards.
- Active participation – Engage actively in the association’s activities by attending and presenting at a quarterly meeting and/or participating in a working group(s).
- Yearly review of contributions – Participate in an annual review to assess your contributions and involvement, helping to maintain a high standard of engagement.
- Strategic partner application – Complete an application to initiate the process of becoming an OSMA Strategic Partner. Upon acceptance, you will be required to pay Annual Dues at the Strategic Partner rate. This financial commitment is a key part of maintaining your active status within the association.
- Meeting participation fees – As a Strategic Partner, registration fees for quarterly meetings will be offered at a Strategic Partner rate. This ensures that you have access to these critical networking and educational opportunities at a cost-effective rate.
- OSMA Strategic Partners are considered non-voting members.
Strategic Partner Expectations
- Attending and presenting at a Quarterly Meeting on a relevant topic selected by OSMA.
- Actively leading and/or participating in at least one (1) working group, contributing to the final work product of that working group and assisting with OSMA publications.
